Dora Allen Haskin was born on December 10, 1873 in Richland, Wisconsin to John Wesley Haskin (1833-1901) and Orrel Maria Waterman (1835-1910). Dora had seven siblings:

According to the 1880 census, Dora and her family lived in Ithaca, Wisconsin.
On August 12, 1894, Dora married Charles Leslie Skone Hodges (1865-1940) in Spring Grove, Wisconsin. They had ten children:

- Oral Marie (my 2nd great grandmother; 1896-1980)
- John (1898-1898)
- Mila Lulu (1900-1903)
- Esther Adelle (1903-1994)
- Charles Howard (1904-1970)
- George Clark (1906-1974)
- Dean Allen (1908-1972)
- Ada Margaret (1911-1974)
- Laura Juanita (1914-1970)
According to the 1900's census, Dora and family were living in Madison City, Wisconsin. The 1910 census, Dora was living in Leaf River and by 1920, Dora would have moved to Rockford, Illinois were she remained until her death.
Dora died on April 10, 1952 at age 78. Dora is buried at Byron Cemetery in Byron, Illinois.
