Elizabeth L. Carrico was born on 20 Apr 1829 in Sullivan County, Indiana to Josiah Carrico (1803-1871) and Jane Williams (1810-1882). Elizabeth was the oldest of eight children:
- John R. (1832-1864)
- Nancy Ann (1833-1901)
- Josephus Cyrus (1837-1908)
- Isaac Owen (1842-1864)
- Mary Jane (or Ann) (1844-?)
- Martha Ann (1846-1921)
- Basil Jordan (my 3rd great grandfather; 1848-1926)
Elizabeth married John White (1823-1900) in 1847. They had three children:
- Sabrina (1854-?)
- Fletcher (1862-?)
- James W. (1870)
The 1880 census has Elizabeth and family living in Franklin, Indiana. According to the 1900 census, Elizabeth was widowed living in Mineral Wells, Texas. No known death date for Elizabeth.
