Carl died on 11 Feb 1924 at age 61 in Wheaton, Illinois.
Carl Nachtigall married Anna Leseberg, Her mother married Henry Holstein. Holstein was her step father. Anna and mother came to America from Germany by themselves. Carl and Anna's daughter was my grandmother Mathilde Charlotte Alvine Nachtigall.She married Harry Alexander Kuykendall. Mathilde was mother of my father, Ronald Norman Kuykendall.
